Starting Wednesday, May 11, 2016 work will begin on Cherry Street which is the road between the BASH campus and 4th street off Madison Avenue. The work being done is an addition of a curb and sidewalk on the school’s side of the street. The end product will provide for a safer situation in which pedestrians and automobiles will no longer need to share the roadway. Unfortunately, during the construction stage we anticipate some minor inconvenience to those people who utilize this roadway. To help alleviate the inconvenience, work will not occur until after students arrive at school and will conclude before dismissal. We expect the work to begin on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. The largest impact to travel on Cherry Street will occur on May 16, 2016 when the curbing is scheduled to be installed. During this time, we believe that Cherry Street will remain accessible but that the work being performed may restrict traffic.
