Abby Kapp to Play Division I Basketball

Senior Abby Kapp has signed her National Letter of Intent to play Division I basketball at Bucknell University. Senior Abby Kapp has signed her National Letter of Intent to play Division I basketball at Bucknell University.

Abby has had a very successful basketball career to date with the Boyertown Area Senior High School girls basketball team as well as her club team, the Lehigh Valley Fever. Over the course of four years, she has received prestigious athletic awards such as Mercury All-Area Player of the Year 2014-2015 and 2015-2016, Reading Eagle Player of the Year 2014-2015 and 2015-2016, PAC First Team 2014-2015 and 2015-2016, and Mercury All-Area First Team 2014-2015 and 2015-2016. Abby has also earned 1,000-plus career points.

Coach Bieber says Abby has been a pleasure to coach over the last four years, “She is one of the hardest working players and best leaders that I have ever coached.  Abby makes coaching very enjoyable because of her desire for her and her teammates to be the best they can be.  Abby will be a great fit at Bucknell University, and their program will fit her both academically and athletically.”
