     Mrs. Ritter

Welcome to the 2019-20 school year! I am so excited to be back at West for another great year! This is my 19th year of teaching. Prior to coming to Boyertown, I taught in the Abington School District as an emotional support and learning support teacher and in the Exeter Township School District as the high school learning support math teacher. I also received my bachelor's degree from West Chester University and my master's degree from Temple University.
I will be back this year working as the 6th-grade learning support teacher for the Courage and Loyalty teams. I will be co-teaching with Mr. McAuliffe ( ELA), Mrs. Mauser ( Math), and Mr. Hazel ( math), as well as providing support in tutor and throughout the day.

When I am not in the classroom, I love spending time with my husband and children. I have a step-son who is 16, a son who is 12, and a daughter who is 7. They definitely keep me very busy with all of their activities, but I love every minute of it! I also enjoy going to the beach, camping, and reading. I'm a bit of a thrill seeker, too so anytime I can get to an amusement park, I love checking out the roller coasters!

If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
