Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Trish DiGiovine
Welcome! Thanks for visiting my webpage. I have been a teacher for close to 20 years and I have been fortunate to have worked at many wonderful schools throughout my career. My experience includes being a classroom teacher, teaching both first and second grade, a reading intervention teacher and now a learning support teacher here at Pine Forge Elementary School. Pine Forge is a warm, welcoming community and I am so grateful that I get to come to work here every day.
I graduated from St. Joseph's University with a BS in elementary education. I also have a Master's in Reading from St. Joe's. Most recently I obtained a special education certification from Arcadia University.
When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I just celebrated our 25th anniversary and we have three children. Anna, our oldest, is a sophmore at The University of Scranton. My son, Michael, is a senior in high school and my youngest, Mary, is a sophmore in high school.
I feel honored that you have entrusted me with helping your child grow as a learner! My favorite thing about teaching is working with your beautiful children. I love their spirit, their curiousity and their energy. My second favorite thing is working with the parents. As a parent, you are the expert on your child and I welcome and value your input! As a team, we will work together to help your child continue to grow and be successful!
