Thanks for visiting Mr. Magro's page! Mr. Magro is Middle School West's Itinerant Support Teacher who focuses on assisting special education students. He is also the building's Transition Coordinator, meeting with parents and elementary students and helping make the transition to middle school as seemless as possible.Just a little about Mr. Magro - he grew up on Staten Island, New York and attended Wagner College. There he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's Degree in Adolescent/Special Education. Later on, he attended Kutztown University where he obtained his Reading Specialist Certification. Along with his building responisbilities, Mr. Magro also advises West's Creative Writing Club and is a teacher coach for the school's What So Cool About Manufacturing Video Contest teamWhen he's not teaching, Mr. Magro enjoys reading and playing video games. He's also a big fan of writing and was lucky enough to have a Young Adult Sci-Fi novel called Surfacing published in October of 2015.
