Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am thrilled to start the 2017-2018 school year with all of you! My name is Mrs. Baylor and I am a 6th-grade learning support teacher. This is my first year with this spectacular team of teachers and staff at Middle School West on the Trust and Integrity teams.
As the year unfolds, I am sure we will have many opportunities to learn more about each other. However, here is just a little bit more about myself, professionally and personally. I received my undergraduate degree in elementary education from Kutztown University. I continued my education at Cabrini University, where I received my special education certification and Master’s degree. Five years ago, I began my journey working within the Boyertown Area School District, working one year, at the High School, as a paraprofessional and three years, at Colebrookdale Elementary, as a Learning Support/Life Skills teacher. At the conclusion of each school day, I go home to my husband, 5-year-old daughter, Olivia, 19-month-old son, Pierce, and dog, Russel. I greatly enjoy spending my free time with my family, taking new adventures, reading, crocheting, drawing, and painting. I am very excited for the many new journeys ahead!
I look forward to collaborating with you and your child to create a successful and memorable school year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. April Baylor
