I am an Art21 Educator and a member of the amazing Boyertown Senior High Art Department.
Currently, I teach Introduction to Drawing, Intermediate Drawing, Advanced Drawing, Painting I and AP Art
Our focus for the past few years has been to build a stronger community within our classes, our school and the community. In an effort to strengthen the community, we have started an Art Enrichment Flex and partnered up with several local businesses, including Penn State University, Kutztown University, Taylor Backes Hot Glass Studio, The Historic Boyertown Auto Museum, The Colebrookdale Railroad, Building a Better Boyertown and the State Theatre of Boyertown.
Classes have taken on a focus of collaboration and team building. Students work with the staff and each other to create meaningful work that reflects and examines the world we live in today.
