Information Technology Student Internship Opportunity
The Information Technology Student Internship (ITS Internship) is an innovative course for diverse students attending BASH interested in gaining credit while exploring the IT field. Through its triple focus on academic preparation, leadership development, and technological literacy, the ITS Internship prepares promising students for learning and leadership in the 21st century digital age.
The Department of Information Technology Services (ITS) offers a great workplace with many opportunities for students. You will not only gain valuable experience, you will also learn valuable skills for your resume when you graduate. We are currently seeking customer-friendly, highly motivated students to staff our Student Helpdesk. Don’t worry if you don’t know much about computers. We will work to match your skills with the appropriate type of job. If you have the technical aptitude and an interest in providing exceptional customer service, we will train you to get up to speed on the skills you will need.

Different positions available for students:
- Student Support Specialist I: Entry level position providing email and in-person assistance for basic computer problems.
- Student Support Specialist II: Intermediate position supporting and resolving more advanced computer problems requiring HP certification (training provided by ITS).
- Summer IT Internship: Paid position working during summer break to prepare the school district for the upcoming school year.
