Update - Boyertown Area Senior High Memorial Stadium

Boyertown Area Senior High (BASH) Memorial Stadium grandstand (home bleachers) have recently been closed due to a structural study being performed, assessing its structural integrity. The grandstand, as well as the outside six lanes of the Memorial Stadium Track – grandstand side will be unavailable until further notice as the final report is being completed.

Additional information will be shared as the district receives a full report from the engineering firm conducting the study and the Boyertown Area School District (BASD) Board of School Directors (BOSD) has had the opportunity to review and decide what the most appropriate action be in addressing the recommendations from the firm. Should you have any questions regarding Memorial Stadium use as well as the current structural study, please feel free to attend the BASD BOSD Facilities Committee meeting being held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in the Central Office Administration Building/Education Center.

Temporary arrangements are currently being made for spring and summer functions/events that have been scheduled for Memorial Stadium in the event its unavailable use extends into those time frames. Information regarding specific events will be shared once the BASD BOSD has made an informed decision relative to the engineering firm’s recommendations.
