The Board of School Directors will have a Special Board Meeting for information/discussion/board vote on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at 6:00 PM. The agenda topics are Boyertown Area Education Association Presentation, COVID-19 Instructional Program Update, and any other matters that may come before the Board of School Directors. Citizens wishing to participate or listen to the meeting can go to "Zoom" connection information which is listed below. Board members and select BASD staff will meet in the Education Center, 911 Montgomery Avenue, Boyertown.  Lucille Kincade, Interim Board Secretary

Out of an abundance of caution, BASD will be conducting the Board Meeting using Zoom for public participation. The District reserves the right to conduct a public meeting as part of the committee meeting and address such business that may properly come before the committee.

Public Speaking Registration Instructions:

If you would like to speak at the meeting, per Board Policy 006 https://go.boarddocs.com/pa/boyr/Board.nsf/Public#,you will need to register by 3 p.m. the day of the meeting (versus the normal 24 hours) due to the Zoom process we are currently using due to the COVID-19 emergency. 

Public Comment #1 for Agenda Items:
Those members of the public who desire to register their intent to speak to an item on the agenda shall inform the Board

Secretary by telephone (610-369-7402) or in writing via email to communications@boyertownasd.org advance of the meeting with their name, address, group affiliation if appropriate, and the agenda topic or item that needs addressing to be heard during Public Comment Period No. 1. 

Public Comment #2 for any School-District Related Items:
Those members of the public who desire to register their intent to speak to an item on the agenda shall inform the Board Secretary by telephone (610-369-7402) or in writing via email to communications@boyertownasd.org advance of the meeting with their name, address, group affiliation if appropriate and the agenda topic or item that needs addressing to be heard during Public Comment Period No. 2.   PLEASE NOTE: Committee Meetings do NOT include a 2nd Public Comment Period.
