Reading - Students will have reading homework nightly. They are to read at least 20 minutes a night on a book of their choosing or one assigned in class. Please ask them to share with you the book they are reading. Take time to ask about the book and discuss it with your child.  Also, have your child read to you and you read aloud to your child. They will be so excited to share their literature with you! Create a quiet time in the day for reading. Additionally, most reading assignments will be finished in class, but occasionally they will need to be finished at home for homework.
