Reading Intervention
As part of RtII (Response to Instruction and Intervention), each grade level has a daily 30-40 minute reading intervention block built into their schedules. During this time, support teachers provide additional, targeted instruction to students based on their individual needs to promote growth in reading.
Title I Reading: Colebrookdale Elementary is one of Boyertown Area School District's Title I schools, meaning that we have extra support personnel to assist in the area of reading instruction. Our Title I Reading program is offered to students in grades kindergarten through third grade who qualify, based upon specific assessment results. Title I Reading support takes place during our daily scheduled small group RtII time both in and out of the classroom.
