• Course Description

Algebra 3 is designed to give students a strong foundational understanding of the most essential topics of Algebra, as well as a working understanding of how math topics are used in daily life.

In addition to solidifying basic algebra concepts, one of the goals for the course is to develop problem solving skills that translate beyond the math classroom. At times, students will be expected to apply their knowledge to open-ended and non-routine problems. Students will sometimes be expected to learn material by working with their teammates and/or solving problems on their own. Students are expected to be highly self-motivated, taking full responsibility for their own learning and seeking help when needed.
