Strategic Planning 2025
Boyertown Area School District has formed a Strategic Planning Committee. The purpose of this team is to assist the Administration in developing a planning document (Strategic Plan 2025-2030) that articulates both the district's vision/mission/goals and how the district will achieve these goals over a five-year period. The Strategic Plan will then be presented to our Board of School Directors for their consideration of approval and shared with all BASD Stakeholders. Areas include:- Curriculum & Instruction/Professional Development
- Finance & Facilities
- Student Services
- Technology
- School & Community Relations
The team includes more than 100 members across six stakeholder groups: administrators, teachers, support staff, students, parents/guardians, and community members (taxpayers without students). They will come together once a month through June 2025 in
preparation for the Board presentation.
We will share details of the process and the committee's work as it unfolds.

Meeting #4 - 5/21/2025
During Meeting #4, the Strategic Planning Committee conducted a final review of the proposed Vision, Mission, and Value Statements. The work groups reviewed the three pillars for each of the five focus areas, as well as the two goals associated with each pillar. Focus area facilitators are tasked with compiling the committee's feedback into final goals for presentation at Meeting #5, scheduled for June 18, 2025. Facilitators did not use formal presentations for this meeting. Instead, participants received hard copies of the statements, pillars, and goals. The documents provided are linked below.
DRAFT of Vision/Mission/Value Statements
These statements include the language that the Administration plans to recommend to the Board of School Directors for review and ratification as part of the overall 2025-2030 Strategic Plan.
DRAFT Focus Area Pillars and Goals
This is a working copy of the goals for each Focus Area. These goals will undergo a final review and revision before being presented to the Strategic Planning Committee, as part of our final recommendations, in June.
SMART Goal Template
This is the template that facilitators used to collect committee feedback during the Meeting #4 work sessions.
